The Objective

Illumina wanted to expand from its focus in genomics to fully encompass RNA, Epigenetics, and event Proteins to better provide clinically meaningful data in the world of multiomics.

Multiomics is a new approach where the data sets of different omic groups are combined during analysis. The objective was to create an ownable multiomics campaign to pique the interests of researchers doing cutting-edge work and draw them into a multiomics approach.

The Idea

When using just single-omics, you may be missing crucial data that can affect the acceleration of your breakthroughs. Integrating multiomics gives you the sum of all parts, allowing you to see what you might be missing in order to see the entire picture.

CoolSculpting is the most chill way to get rid of unwanted fat—by freezing it to death. With a new campaign launch and very tight timeline, I directed the UX/UI and visual design and worked closely with development to bring an entirely new look to the .com space for CoolSculpting.

When Intel released it’s newest processor; one of the greatest features was not only the increased speed… but how small it was.

To feature that kind of creative processing power; and only having 30 minutes of production time with Serena; we captured the sounds of Serena Williams’ tennis game and tasked Mega producer Metro Boomin to create a custom warm up track using a laptop equipped with the new Intel 6th generation processor.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Twitter kept it real with all things love shown only the way Twitter’s platform can… an extensive out of home campaign that kept commuters across the country entertained and in the mood for love.

When the NFL opened the gates to stream it’s one-of-a-kind product; the opportunity was too good to let pass. As creative lead for the NFL Live campaign for Yahoo Sports, I oversaw the development and creation of literally thousands of pieces of content. From static general awareness display to API fed matchup banners to social video content specific to team region and hype video cut downs tailored to occasion.

Analytics told the story of the former Intel homepage. Massive dropoff from the hero to the second blad, and continued dropoff down the page. Condensing the top positions and bringing subtle interactive elements was the answer. Here are some of those explorations.

With an agile multi-disciplinary design + development team, we are in a near constant state of adding functionality and making design/interactive refinements to intel.com. Sometimes we refine and enhance existing blades and templates based on analytics/focus group. Sometimes we build them from scratch. The responsive design framework is optimized for multiple breakpoints and frequently A/B tested to ensure optimization.

With few exceptions technology is a part of everyone’s life.  Sometimes it’s a passive experience.  Many times we seek it out – for work, for play, for life.  Chances are we felt something too (happiness, boredom, wonder…amazement?)…and chances are we didn’t think twice about what was behind the experience.  Here’s a clue: it was probably Intel.

As an Official Technology Provider for the NFL, Intel is bringing the game to viewers in exciting new ways. We documented what it takes to bring the most amazing replay technology out there to life. 

Mega producer Metro Boomin used the sounds of Serena Williams’ tennis game and a new computer to create a custom warm-up track that can get her ready for every match.

Lifestyle influencer Courtney Novogratz gathered a few friends before the holidays to share her newfound, real life discovery that a new computer made life; and all her other technology amazing. 

Real-life friends, skaters, and budding filmmakers discover the power a new computer can bring to their craft.

Friends with a life-long dream of taking a trip to Bali discover how a new computer makes importing photos, getting work done, and booking that trip to Bali that much easier. 

Intel wanted to show the breadth of their wearables technology on a category type page and stay within the site's CMS structure. Using slight animations on targeted material and staggering content we were able to give a template page some life. 

When it came time to launch Intel’s best processor ever, a new brand position and brand construct was needed. With Intel Inside, Amazing Experiences were certainly outside. 

Intel has always been the choice for extreme gaming. To celebrate this; Intel joined forces with Rico (a character in Just Cause) and several other gaming franchises to provide the experience free for computers powered with overclockable Unlocked 6th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 processors.

To get the word out, traditional as well as digital channels were used. 

The Clio Award-winning eBay Thanks You campaign began with a simple premise—eBay wanted to thank the millions of users on its 20th anniversary. The only real way to make it compelling was to show the real impact that eBay has had on its customer base by featuring real people and the enormous impact eBay has had on their lives. A series of short vignettes were produced that cut-down to pre-roll, a New York Times full page ad and rich media units were placed, and a custom YouTube page was developed to showcase these inspiring stories.

eBay hybrid & dynamic brand creative utilizes an incredible amount of data from eBay to assemble custom tailored display ads to individual users. The creative draws from 21 different personas that are matched with lifestyle photography and headlines depending on an array of shopping and profile history.

When Taco Bell became one of the first promoted posts on Instagram to put the word out about it's new breakfast; I was honored to work among select creatives to come up with concepts that felt native to the platform, true to the brand, and increase the buzz about Taco Bell Breakfast.

Hyundai was looking for a new solution for existing owners that integrated their vehicle with their lifestyle and helped with customer retention. We proposed an all encompassing solution that helped people connect with their vehicles in ways not previously explored such as custom content based on location and season to reminders about service to custom metrics specific to your driving style.

During Game 4 of the NBA Finals, we sat down with NBA All-Star, Kevin Love, and turned the Sprint Twitter handle into The 'Show The Love' with Kevin Love Show. We ghostwrote his commentary on the game, responded to fans, and received two fist pounds from Kevin after a few surprise retweets from the @NBA handle.

Named a top ten mobile and social campaign from the first half of 2013 by Mobile Marketer.

723% increase in average day-over-day followers.

100,000+ favorites and retweets despite @Sprint only having 111,000 followers.

Most retweets of any Sprint Twitter campaign.

NASCAR's favorite insiders needed a new home for all of their content that allowed their personality and impact on the sport to shine through. The MSC custom YouTube page gets millions of views per season and was built with a custom CMS so content is easily updated.

Full redesign of the Sprint speed site. One it's cooler features was a page that filtered all types of social content based on your preference... whether it's a specific driver, track, or Miss Sprint Cup.

When the path was cleared to sell lottery tickets online, The Illinois Lottery needed to spread the word. One thing stood out about being able to actually purchase lottery tickets online. Nobody thought this would ever be possible. Naturally; a campaign highlighting 'Anything's Possible'.

The campaign included broadcast, display, out of home and experiential displays throughout the state leading to the largest jackpot amounts at that time.

The Dewar's (Who You Are.) work was done for GolinHarris to push the brand in directions it hadn't previously played. Well received, the dark and colorful lifestyle photography as well as the personal way one might drink Dewar's left it's mark.

The Allen Groupe is a privately held aircraft services company that specializes in caring for and servicing individual's and corporate jets. Extreme attention to detail and customer service is what sets them apart from competitors.
